Dear Helen,
I would first like to start out by saying I love to read your column. You are a very smart lady indeed. You have incredible insight do you have a degree or does this all come naturally to you? I was just wondering.
My question is this. I have been seeing a gentleman now for almost two years. We get along fine. We never fight or have great vast differences in our opinions. We see each other at least once a week. It really is a nice comfortable relationship. However, I don't think it is going anywhere. We have talked about the future, but it is always someday, eventually, down the road. I know this gentleman likes me. I'm not sure just how much. Helen, I guess what I want to ask you is, do you see this ever turning into marriage? I honestly do like what we have, but I want to be married sooner then later and I want children, sooner then later. Can you help me please? Thank you so much. Signed, Anxiously Waiting.

Oh Sweetie,
I wish my cards had the news you wanted to hear, but I am sure you know the answer to this in your heart. After two years in this comfortable relationship, it is just that. Comfortable. He is your date mate. Your companion. I do not think this man really wants to be married.
My cards showed that he has had a broken heart in the past. This has left him “marriage shy”. You are going to have to put your cards on the table with this man and let him know that you are looking for more then a once a week commitment from him and if he intends in marry you. If so, then when and where is the ring.
Now, if you are content then leave this alone and let it be. However, if you are truly feeling stuck in a “comfortable” rut with this guy, you are going to have to confront him. Be prepared though for what he will say. I'm sorry. He is a great boyfriend.  He is just not marriage material.

Dear Helen,
I've called you on the telephone for free information but you said I would have to write to you in the paper. I think if I call you on the phone and I get you, because you don't answer your phone too much, you should give me the answers I want for free. I don't want to spend fifty dollars of my pension to see you at your house. Okay?
I want to know if I am going to get money and I want to know my lucky numbers. Give me six for 649 and give me seven for super seven. You could give me my numbers over the phone. Now I have to read the paper to for my numbers.  I don't want people knowing that I write to you. Okay? Don't put my name in the paper either okay? Signed Name Withheld.

First let me tell you this. My phone is for my friends and family to call and chat, and clients to make appointments only. That is it. If you want “FREE” information you are going to have to write to the paper whether you are happy with this or not. My phone is not Helen's free psychic hot line.
You are not the first to call my home and ask for free information. I get calls from all over the place and it happens day in and day out. I have had days were the phone rings nonstop for “free” information. Actually, I had a gentleman call just last week for his free numbers, and frankly, I don't make a living that way.
Secondly, if you have ever read my column,  I have told people in the past, I do not do numbers. Most psychics ( not all I know )  do not give numbers. Well, they can, and once in a while, they might be right, but so can anyone. To be honest, our “gift”  doesn't work that way. It is not to be used to harm, or to abuse for material gain. Think about it. How many rich psychics do you know?
Trust me, if we could use the gift to get rich,  all of us (psychics and readers ) would be in Los Vegas beating the house!  Honestly, don't you think if  we could pick the numbers we would do it for ourselves and our families and we would all be drinking Margaritas on some nice, warm sandy beach. Not freezing our backsides here?
Actually, I am very unlucky with games of chance.  However, people who sit on my left side always win. Go figure eh? It is very depressing at times, because I could sure use the money myself.  So.  I'm sorry. You will just have to keep spending your pension money on those tickets and keep hoping. Remember what they say though. You are more likely to get struck by lightening then win the jackpot. Unfortunately, that goes for psychics and card readers too I'm afraid.
