Dear Helen
I hope you can answer something puzzling for me. I
keep dreaming of a guy but he changes in the dreams. He can be
younger or older or wear modern clothes or old. He can have long hair
or short and even have different colour hair. I just know though it’s
still him. I don’t know who he is. I have never met him so I don’t know
why I am continually dreaming of him. At first, when I dreamt about him
I couldn’t make out what he was saying. Now he says different things.
When I wake up all I can remember is bits and pieces. Can you
tell me who this guy is to me? Will I ever meet him? Is He someone from
a past life? What do you think. Looking forward to your
response. Thank you for your time. Signed, Puzzled.
I sense this man is one of your spirit guides. We
all have them. How wonderful that you can commune with spirit
through your dreams! There are many who will never be open enough to
have this enlightening experience. When your dream guide is talking to
you make sure you listen to what he has to say. I would suggest
that you keep a dream book or a small tape recorder by your bed. Write
or dictate the main points of the dream. Be aware of anything
that comes true from one visit to the next.
You can help yourself remember your dreams better
by keep a Herkimer Diamond under your pillow or by your bedside.
Secondly, before you fall asleep, say out loud, “I will
remember” nine times. It will help you make even clearer contact.
Sweet dreams!

Dear Helen,
I am a married woman. I have been married to the
same wonderful man for over many years. I have three beautiful girls, a
nice paid for home, several good friends and good health. I have all of
this and yet I am so unhappy in my marriage. My husband and I
seem to have drifted apart. When my husband comes home from work
all he does is eat, watch T.V. and then goes to bed. We seldom go out
together. We are seldom intimate any more as well.
I feel like I should be doing something, I
just don’t know what it should be. I am only 48 years old but I feel
like 90 some days. Do you see if there will be any changes in my future
or is this all there is left for me now? I hope you can
give me some good news. I read your column every week and I think
it’s the best thing in the paper. I can’t wait to read your
replies. I am sending my name and phone number so I can be in your
draw. Please call me during the day so my husband won’t know. He
doesn’t believe in this sort of thing. Thank You. Signed, Lost Hope.
I’m sorry, your marriage feels empty. However, I’m
not a marriage counselor, just a card reader. You were only eighteen
(if I did my math correctly) years old when you married. That’s pretty
young to be married.
First, you need to communicate to your husband
exactly how you feel. If you are as unhappy as I feel you are, then he
has the right to know. Tell him. I really don't think he is aware of
the emptiness you are feeling. Also, I feel the need to tell you
that you must do something productive and meaningful for your own
self. I feel your husband is happy and content with his
life. It’s you with the problem..
Find something you like and go and do it. For good
mental, spiritual, and physical, health we must all have a passion.
Passion makes for happiness. And that’s what it’s all about. Anything
that strikes your fancy is just fine. You have a bit of a “poor
me” attitude and this kind of thinking is a poison to the psyche.
Your cards show that you definitely will be taking a course in the
fall.
Get busy! You have way too much time on your hands.
Keeping the house clean and making dinner just isn’t going to do it for
you anymore. If you get out of the house you will feel so much
better. You will also have more to talk about with your husband too.
Tell him you want to do something now that the kids are grown. I am
sure he will back you one hundred percent. It’s up to you to change
what you can and I believe there is much you can change, to help you
feel “full” of life again.
